Pecan Cheese Cake



I made this pecan cheese cake with all the pecan halves I have left. (Gotta wait for the supermarkets to have an "Amerikanische Woche" again to buy them at reasonable prices).

It is made according to a german recipe book. While the cake has a delicious lemon taste, the base (and sides) are definitely pecany-nutty. And I especially like the caramelized sugar strands on top of the cake (although the photos are not really optimal).
